Beeple Studios is set to host PepeFest, a vibrant celebration of digital art and community, on August 10th. Renowned digital artist Beeple, also known as Michael Joseph Winkelmann, will lead the event. The festival promises to offer a mix of art showcases, competitions, and interactive installations centred around the iconic Pepe character.
NFT enthusiasts are in for a treat. Those who own specific NFTs, including Pepe Coin, Rare Pepe, Pepe Editions, Peplicator by Matt Furie, Beeple NFTs, or Beeple Collaboration NFTs, can RSVP through Token Proof. Owners will receive two tickets per wallet or NFT, with the opportunity to bring additional guests. Verification at check-in ensures that the wallet owner must be present with their guests.
For those without an NFT, Beeple Studios has created opportunities to participate through a wait-list, social media ticket giveaways, and artist submission competitions.
The event will take place at Beeple Studios, located at 2325 Charleston Regional Parkway, Charleston SC, 29492. Onsite parking is restricted to parking pass holders, with ride-share drop-offs permitted. Shuttles from an offsite parking location at 56 Fairchild St, Daniel Island, 29492, will run every 10-15 minutes for both the Day and Night events.
The Day event, scheduled from 12 PM to 4 PM, will feature speakers, artist showcases, drawing competitions, interactive installations, and a documentary screening. The Night event, from 8 PM to 12 AM, will include a live art competition, a “Pepe-tastic” everyday live performance, a Pepe costume competition, and artist showcases with valuable prizes.
Beeple Studios has emphasized that tickets are non-transferable and only those aged 21 and older are allowed. In a humorous note, the studio suggested reaching out to child protective services for those considering bringing children.
