Eden Games, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, has launched the beta version of Cosmic Royale. This new Web3 party royale kart racing game is set to officially launch in Q2, 2024.
In a July 15 blog post, Eden Games confirmed the release of the beta version. The game is developed in partnership with Motorverse and Mocaverse, both part of Animoca Brands. Eden Games, established in 1998, is renowned for titles like Gear Club and V-Rally. This is their first game with full blockchain integration.
David Nadal, creative director at Eden Games, expressed excitement about the project. He said, “We’re thrilled to unveil Cosmic Royale and welcome players to the Cosmic Tournament. Each player can personalize their experience by importing custom drivers and karts.”
Kenneth Shek, the project lead for Mocaverse, also commented on the collaboration. He stated, “Mocaverse aims to unite players globally in a diverse gaming ecosystem. Our collaboration with Eden Games showcases Web3-native interoperability.”
Cosmic Royale features 40-player matches with multiple racing rounds and obstacle navigation. The game culminates in a survival finale where the last player standing wins. High-scoring players earn Realm Points, which are loyalty points for Moca ID holders. These points can be converted into MOCA Coin, a token launched by the MOCA Foundation.
Players can deposit their Realm Points on the Mocaverse platform to multiply them. By depositing certain amounts daily, players can rank on leaderboards and multiply their RP rewards. The game is free-to-play, meaning gamers can participate without any costs.
Cosmic Royale brings Eden Games’ expertise to Web3 gaming. The partnership with Mocaverse enhances the gaming experience, making it unique and personalized for each player. The game’s official launch in Q2, 2024, is highly anticipated by the gaming community.
